CourtzClub is operated by Black & Orange Ventures LLC (”CourtzClub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains the information CourtzClub collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices available to you when you use the CourtzClub mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

When you create or maintain an account, we may collect:

• Your name, email address, account identifier, profile photo, and authentication information;
• Your self-reported Playing Level, home club, city, tennis gear, profile visibility, notification preferences, and other profile or social preferences; and
• Premium access and entitlement status, including subscription status or an access-code grant. Apple processes payment-card and App Store payment information; CourtzClub does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Tennis activity and performance information

We collect information you enter, import, or generate while using CourtzClub, such as:

• Tennis sessions and matches, scores, results, dates and times, duration, court or venue, session type, and notes;
• Opponents, partners, tagged players, teams, lineups, availability, challenges, and related tennis activity;
• Photos or other media you attach to your profile, sessions, posts, or other supported features; and
• Derived tennis information and analysis, such as CourtzRating, Dynamic Estimate, Bump Forecast, Advanced Stats, Tennis Footprint summaries, and lineup recommendations.

CourtzClub is an independent product operated by Black & Orange Ventures LLC and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Any CourtzRating, Dynamic Estimate, Bump Forecast, or other rating or performance analysis provided by CourtzClub is unofficial and is not a USTA rating or determination.

Location and court information

CourtzClub uses location differently depending on the feature you choose.

Courts Near You. If you explicitly enable Courts Near You and grant location permission, CourtzClub may use foreground location and, if you separately grant “Always” permission on iOS, background location to detect when your device is near a tennis court and present a local reminder. The continuous position stream used for court-proximity matching is processed on your device. CourtzClub does not continuously upload that stream to Supabase. Known court coordinates and Google Places results may be used on the device to perform proximity matching. You can disable Courts Near You or change location permission in CourtzClub or iOS Settings.

Players Near You. If you explicitly enable Players Near You, CourtzClub captures one foreground location fix and stores one current recent-location record associated with your account. It is used for time-limited proximity matching when another player starts a live session. This feature does not maintain a continuous location history. CourtzClub attempts to remove the stored recent-location record when you disable the feature. Freshness and distance limits are applied before matching users.

Sessions, courts, and clubs. If you choose a court, club, or place for a session or profile, CourtzClub may store the venue name, place identifier, city, and coordinates needed to display and analyze your tennis activity. Search text or location context may be sent to Google Maps or Google Places to return venue and court results.
